Amidst the disruptions caused by Covid in the spring of 2020, we grappled with the challenges of social distancing and shutdowns in the context of education. To ensure an equitable learning environment, where all students could attend school full-time, I presented a proposal for an outside learning initiative involving the setup of tents. While the proposal did not ultimately get adopted, my administrative team found the idea intriguing and forwarded it to their supervisors. Unfortunately, implementing such a significant undertaking would have required additional time and resources to secure the necessary funding and materials.
